SWAEC- On the Rope: Where do librarians fit on Scarborough's Rope?

Used throughout the Science of Reading, Scarborough's Reading Rope provides an illustration of multiple strands of reading skills being woven together, creating strong reading proficiency. The roles of a school librarian link to each of the eight strands on the Reading Rope. In this session, we will explore the roles of a school librarian and school librarian standards aligned to the strands of language comprehension and word recognition to further strengthen reading proficiency. Audience: K-12 Librarians
