ARESC-Expect, Engage, Empower - Planning for Inclusion in Transition



This new professional learning opportunity will discuss the components and importance of creating a sense of belonging among students and includes basic information on strategies, tips, and tools that will help individuals and/or teams incorporate inclusive practices into the secondary transition process. Attendees will review characteristics of inclusion in general education and work to incorporate them into their classroom, school building, or district. Valuable resources for high leverage practices and instructional practices that support inclusion will be shared. Teams that include general educators and special educators are encouraged to attend with electronic devices to plan strategies

Important Session Information:


Participants not under contract with ARESC's Member districts will be charged a fee of $25 per day, or $15 per half day. Payment is required prior to the event session.Disclaimer*** Registered participants who do not attend and fail to cancel their registration will be held liable for the registration fee if applicable. If paying day of cash only please.
