Teaching Gifted in the Secondary



The characteristics of gifted learners and their particular educational needs will be presented as well as how to differentiate core content for gifted learners in this 6-hour professional development session.  Teachers will submit a sample lesson plan showing differentiation.  Teachers serving identified gifted students through the secondary content program option who have not been AP or pre-AP trained can attend this ADE-approved training and receive a certificate for required documentation.

A $100 FEE WILL BE DUE ON THE DAY OF TRAINING IF NOT PARTICIPATING IN THE DMESC PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONSORTIUM.
