NAESC - Effective ESOL Programming, Taking it to Writing. ESOL Program Guide: Sections 1-3



This interactive working session allows ESOL Program Coordinators to reflect on how they meet their obligations to English Learners and their families. We will workshop the wording of our ESOL Program Guides to ensure the alignment of district expectations, supports, processes, and procedures to ensure all students speaking languages other than English are screened, identified, and appropriately receiving English language Development and Meaningful Access to the core services as described in their district's Language Instruction Educational Plan.

Important Session Information:


This interactive working session allows ESOL Program Coordinators to reflect on how they meet their obligations to English Learners and their families. We will discuss the alignment of district expectations, supports, processes, and procedures to ensure all students speaking languages other than English are screened, identified, and appropriately receiving English language Development and Meaningful Access to the core services as described in their district's Language Instruction Educational Plan. Please bring a device, access to the district’s current program guide, and any district support people to help revise and edit processes and procedures for all ESOL programming.
