SWAEC- STEAM/ELA in the K - 4 Media Center and Classroom



This interactive session will explore how to leverage the new role of the media center as a comprehensive reader-maker-thinker space. Informational text integrated with science, technology, engineering, art, and math is a powerful combination for engaging students in reading, creativity, and sensemaking. K-4 media specialists, generalists, art, and content area educators can benefit from joining in this engaging opportunity to enjoy hands-on activities and exchange ideas with other educators.

For SWAEC Professional Development Consortium member districts, the fee for this session has been waived. Members and non-members will be assessed a “no show” fee if you register and do not attend. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks) and no one will be charged a fee.

Bring a device or borrow one of ours. Lunch is on your own.
