NEA - Effective ESOL Programming, Taking it to Writing. ESOL Program Guide: Sections 10-12



This interactive working session allows ESOL Program Coordinators to reflect on how they meet their obligations to English Learners and their families.  We will workshop the wording of our ESOL Program Guides to ensure the alignment of district expectations, supports, processes, and procedures to ensure all students speaking languages other than English are screened, identified, and appropriately receiving English language Development and Meaningful Access to the core services as described in their district's Language Instruction Educational Plan. 

Materials required by Participants:

Device, access to current Program Guide, and any district support people to help revise and edit processes and procedures of all ESOL Programming.
