WDMESC: Connecting Educators to Entrepreneurs



How many entrepreneurs do you know? Did you know that 99.3% of Arkansas businesses are small businesses that have a BIG impact on communities all across the state?Heartland Forward, an Arkansas think tank, challenges educators in our state to teach entrepreneurial thinking in the K-12 environment. The goal of Connecting Educators to Entrepreneurs is to learn inspiring stories of entrepreneurs in local communities, participate in turnkey entrepreneurship activities, learn about entrepreneurship student competitions 5-12 offered by Economics Arkansas, and have fun!

Upon successful completion, participants will receive:

6 hours of professional development credit

Ready to use resources

Lunch

$50 stipend*

*Stipend is available to all educators under contract for the 2024-2025 school year. Target audience: K-12 educators
