Magnolia-MHS-Socratic Seminar/Hexagonal Thinking
Participants will research strategies to increase critical thinking in students with a focus on Socratic Seminar and Hexagonal Thinking.
Important Session Information:
Teachers will learn about the protocols for preparing for, facilitating, and grading a Socratic Seminar that will encourage critical thinking, as well as speaking and listening skills. Additionally, the session will introduce teachers to the Hexagonal Thinking activity that will promote critical thinking and integration off ideas. This session will be held in Room 17 and be facilitated by Jared Mancil. It will occur on June 25 from 8:30-3:30.
