This session will examine the organization of the new social studies standards documentation, including how to leverage grade-level standards and develop an awareness of associated legislative requirements and upcoming course shifts. The focus is to review new components within the Arkansas Social Studies Standards document, with an emphasis on the addition of the target vocabulary, the inclusion of a social studies glossary, special considerations, and available resources.
