This workshop will provide school nurses with resources and up to date education on issues facing school nurses. This will include information on diabetes, asthma, seizures and endometriosis. Speakers will be from AR Children's Hospital and UAMS. There will also be updates from Cheria McDonald, BSN, RN, NCSN, State School Nurse Consultant. This activity has been submitted to the Midwest Multistate Division for approval to award contact hours. The Midwest Multistate Division is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Doors will open at 8:00am, workshop will begin at 8:30am. (Speakers will present via zoom, attendees must be in person for contact hours)
