SWAEC- New CTE Teacher In-Service

Welcome to the New CTE Teacher Inservice Workshop! This workshop is designed to provide support and guidance to novice Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers as they navigate various essential resources. Throughout this session, participants will learn how to effectively utilize the Arkansas State Standards for CTE, navigate the DCTE site for valuable information and resources, understand the Perkins funding requirements, explore Student Certifications opportunities, and discover the benefits of Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs). By the end of this workshop, novice CTE teachers will have a deeper understanding of how to align their curriculum with the AR State Standards, leverage the DCTE site to enhance their teaching practices, maximize Perkins funding for their programs, guide students through certification pathways, and engage students in CTSO activities to enrich their CTE experience. Join us for an interactive and informative session that will empower you to make the most of these essential resources in your CTE classroom!
