- Audience:  K-12 Administrators and Teachers

Participants will:

  • Learn key brain research and discover ways to integrate this research into schools and the classroom.
  • Explore ways to build an equitable, inclusive, engaging environment for learning.
  • Identify and plan for brain-based strategies that will have a positive impact on student achievement and learning.

Important Session Information:

To close the achievement gap, diverse classrooms need a proven framework and plan for optimizing student engagement based on current brain research.  Culturally responsive instruction has shown promise, but many teachers still need support to implement.  This workshop will take an innovative approach for designing and implementing brain-compatible culturally responsive instruction.
