First Year Teachers Boot Camp: Getting off to a Great Start!
- Audience: First Year Resident Educators

Participants will:

Learn how to "Set the Tone" as the instructional leader of your classroom.
Develop a discipline plan that promotes accountability and responsibility.
Learn how to use technology tools to support the implementation of a positive discipline plan.
Learn strategies to address the social/emotional needs of students.
Learn the key strategies and tools to building a growth mindset in students resulting in increased student motivation and focus
Have breakout discussions by grade levels with veteran teachers to share ideas and strategies for getting off to a great start.

Important Session Information:

What you do the first days of school could determine your success or failure for the rest of the school year. This session will focus on planning for the first day and week of school to create a classroom culture of high expectations.
