Integrating SLP Interventions into Classrooms & Curriculum:  Moving from a Caseload to a Workload Approach

- Audience:  Speech-Language Pathologists




Participants will be able to:

  • implement time-saving strategies to integrate highly effective therapy into classrooms even with high caseloads.
  • explain the need for and implement a workload approach to therapy in their schools.
  • write measurable and authentic goals that support the student in all school settings.

Important Session Information:


Christina Bradburn, M.S,, CCC-SLP is a full-time, practicing, school-based speech-language pathologist. She is a national presenter for the Bureau of Education and Research and author of "Timesaving Strategies to Integrate SLP Interventions into Classrooms: Moving from a Caseload to a Workload Approach".

She is passionate about working collaboratively with teachers, administrators and school staff while using creative, yet research-based interventions. She strives to maximize time through creative scheduling without sacrificing high-quality and effective services to her students. Christina is known for her highly practical approach and for sharing a wealth of proven teaching strategies and resources that are easy to use on a daily basis. You will find her presentation fast-paced, enjoyable and full of useful ideas you can immediately implement to guide your school's speech-language program.

A Certificate of Participation will be provided for 6.5 contact hours.

University Credit: One semester hour of credit is being offered by Ashland University for a fee of $172.  Graduate credit will be granted upon completion of workshop requirements and full attendance at this event AND Make it Take it:  Developing Functional Communication on February, 2, 2018 or snow date of March 2, 2018.  Registration for this Ashland credit should be done at the workshop on February 2, 2018  or snow date of March 2, 2018. 

0.65 ASHA CEUs will be offered.
