Social Emotional Learning, offered only online, features theories, resources, and ideas that can be implemented in any subject area or grade level. Topics include the SEL competencies and how to teach them to students, mindfulness and it's impact on student focus and impulse control, and brain-focused strategies for learning.
Participants will be asked to complete assignments, engage in online discussions with the learning cohort, and share implementation ideas via sample lesson plans. There are 6 modules. Each module has 2-3 lessons.
45 Contact Hours or 4.5 CEUs. (Certificate available upon course completion through ESCWorks.)
