Ethics Training for Special Educators:  Adding Value by Anticipating Challenges

- Audience:  Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists




Participants will:

  • Acquire the 2 hour Ethics Training required by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board for license renewal (December, 2018).
  • Discuss common scenarios in special education around provision of FAPE, LRE, independent educational evaluations, social media, student suspensions, manifestation meetings, etc.

Important Session Information:


Jeremy Neff, attorney with Ennis Britton Co., L.P.A., will share and discuss common scenarios that require both understanding of the legal aspects of special education as well as an awareness of professional ethics.

A certificate of 2.5 contact hours will be provided.

HCESC, WCESC, BCESC, CCESC SLPs and Affiliate SLPs ONLY can register for nofee.
