Participants will:

• Select and utilize effective treatment approaches for increasing fluency, reducing stuttering, and improving communication attitudes in preschool and school-age children.
• Help children express their concerns about their speaking ability in a supportive atmosphere that will help them come to terms with their feelings and attitudes about stuttering.
• Work with parents of children who stutter in a manner that will help parents contribute to their children's success in treatment and in other conversational settings.
