Want to add another communication/ vocabulary system to your repertoire to better assist kids who are low or non-verbal? Then come and join us for this two-day course led by Laura Taylor, a national certified trainer of Pragmatic Organization Dynamic Display (PODD). This system has carefully designed communication page templates to more quickly faciliate communication. The templates can be customized and used as individual pages or combined into a book format to expand the users vocabulary. Come learn strategies for creating multi-modal language learning environments that provide receptive models and expressive opportunities for language development. This hands on session will keep you moving as we explore strategies for teaching and using PODD with children and their communication partners via videos, case examples, and modeling with each other. Teaching manual is included.
