- Audience: Intervention Specialists who support learners in the general education setting as well as the resource room. (A separate professional development is available for intervention specialists who are leading self-conta




  • Define the roles and responsibilities for paraprofessionals in the general education classroom setting and in the resource room.
  • Learn how to guide your support staff in how to best support your learners in the general education setting or during pull out intervention services.
  • Learn how to facilitate trainings and collaborate when time with your team is minimal (at best).
  • Discuss ways to utilize paraprofessionals during remote learning.

Important Session Information:


Working with support staff can feel like it's a full time job on top of a full time job. This training will provide you with lots of tips on how to “support” your support staff (and yourself!) when working in the general education classroom and resource room.

This is a live virtual event. An access link will be e-mailed to participants prior to the training. No other materials are needed.
