Mathematics Benchmark Performance Assessments are designed to assess student mastery as a result of TEKS-based instruction and serve as an indicator for student success on TAKS. A master rubric to analyze a student’s conceptual knowledge, procedural knowledge, and communication skills is included.

RUBRIC – Educators grades 3-8, Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II

Rubric Framework –Educators might wish to copy and paste this shell for each task to facilitate scoring student work. This information could be transferred to a format suitable for scanning and integrated into your district database.
