Gain knowledge and skills to enhance visual appeal and taste of healthy school meals through this interactive culinary workshop. Expand knife skills and explore the use of seasonings to increase flavor while reducing sodium and fat. Learn the basics of handling fresh produce for quality and safety. Participants will apply new skills to prepare whole grain and vegetable recipes through chef led hands-on activities.




Important Session Information:



This culinary workshop is intended for managers and kitchen staff working in schools that prepare school meals on-site. Please limit staff to 8 participants to allow a variety of CEs to attend.
