Phonological Awareness Foundations in Prekindergarten
Using the Phonological Awareness Continuum in Prekindergarten to Teach and Assess Skills.





Research indicates that phonological awareness is one strong predictor of literacy success.

In this training, participants will review the components and progression of the phonological awareness skill sequence, learn some strategies and activities to support students' development, and get examples of strategies to implement authentic assessment to measure student progress and inform instruction.



Important Session Information:



Join us to learn about developmentally appropriate activities for prekindergarten to target specific areas in the phonological awareness continuum. During this three hours virtual session, we will be sharing fun activities and games to support phonological awareness, and tips to gather formative data to guide instructional practices.
