Oral Language and Emergent Literacy Development in the ECSE and Prekindergarten Classrooms





Developing oral language and communication skills for young children create a foundation for later success in reading and writing. In this session, we will discuss oral language development stages, alignment to prekindergarten guidelines, inclusive practices, and how to intentionally plan and assess oral language development in early childhood classrooms.
