DRIVER EDUCATION CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION ONLY
LOCATION:
James Earl Rudder HS, Bryan ISD
TIME:
4 PM - 6 PM
DATES:
February 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25;
March 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10 & 11.
This driver education class provides 32 hours of driver education classroom instruction and students will receive their "learner's permit" after this class is completed.
Students will also receive the Drug & Alcohol Driving Awareness Program (DADAP) instruction. This instruction will provide an additional insurance reduction.
Students will need to make arrangements for the lab portion (incar driving) through one of the following:
*Public school driver education (if available)
*Parent Taught Program
*Private Driving School
This class is offered on a "first come/first served" basis. We will hold an on-site registration at Rudder HS on February 10, 2010 from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM.
If registering on-line, total payment is payable by credit card only.
On-site registration must be paid by cash, check or money order.
Due to a Department of Public Safety rule change, as of November 9, 2009, all students attending a Driver Education class (public, private, or parent-taught program) will have to go to the nearest DPS office to take the permit written test, be photographed and fingerprinted.
The classroom instructor can provide you with the phone number of the local DPS office.
