ON-LINE MOODLE TRAINING FOR ALTERNATIVE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM FOR DRIVER EDUCATION
This instruction provides the training necessary for certified teachers to add the driver education endorsement to their teaching certificate. Teaching assistants can be certified to teach the incar phase of driver education.
This instruction will be taught online using "Moodle." Students will access course information online and complete assignments through online instruction.
This is an ongoing course and instructions for completion will be given through Moodle.
Day Five of instruction must be taught on-site at the ESC, Region VI building in Huntsville, Texas. This date will be determined at a later time and students will be notified.
Students must complete the "Registration Packet" prior to start of class.
This packet can be found at www.tdtsea.com or by calling Donald Brown at 936-435-8320.
During the first week students will need to download SKYPE software in order to work with this course.
This instruction only covers Phase I of the training.
Phase 2 (classroom/incar observation) and Phase 3 (classroom/incar instruction) must be completed to receive your Driver Education endorsement.
