Assessment Research, Accountability Review, STAAR Data and Test Analysis, and Assessment Designer Team Building




Do you need assistance creating quality assessments? 

During this two day training, we will review the purpose of assessment, accountability, STAAR updates, data analysis, STAAR question analysis, and instructional adjustments to improve student success.

With curriculum specialists, we will create a quality assessment for the first 6 weeks of the upcoming school year.

This will also be a networking opportunity to build a team of assessment designers to share resources and collaborate on the building of future quality assessments using a private Google assessment group.

Important Session Information:


We will discuss assessment research, the continuous improvement cycle for data driven systems, the state accountability system, STAAR data analysis, STAAR test analysis, district plans for student growth, and creation of Region 6 Assessment Designer Teams.

Bring You Own Device (BYOD): Laptop
We will connect to the internet, your district analysis tool, and your district test item bank (whether it be DMAC, eduphoria, WebCCAT or any other software). Please confirm the configuration of your equipment to connect and save from Region 6 ESC before attending.
