Navigating the ELPS Science

In this session, participants will learn teaching strategies to meet the needs of their English Language Learners (ELLs) in the science classroom. Participants will learn how to incorporate sheltered instruction techniques in conjunction with the English language proficiency standards (ELPS) in order to gain an understanding of how to take any routine science lesson and adapt it to meet the needs of their ELL students.
