The new ELA Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) go into effect in 2009-2010 and have significant differences from the previous version. This session provides information about the new ELAR TEKS so participants understand the new strands, knowledge and skills statements, and student expectations.

*THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR TEACHERS GRADES 3-5 ONLY AND FOR TEACHERS WHO HAVE NOT PREVIOUSLY RECEIVED THIS TRAINING. *MUST ATTEND BOTH DAYS TO OBTAIN FULL CREDIT.
