The new ELA Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) go into effect in 2009-2010 and have significant differences from the previous version. This session provides information about the new ELAR TEKS so participants understand the new strands, knowledge and skills statements, and student expectations.
Important Session Information:
Due to grant funding, teachers and administrators employed in districts in Region VI only may attend. Other participants should attend sessions in their region.
