DMAC Mini-Academy
DMAC Academy Day 2-TEKScore/TAG




In this three day event, participants will be introduced to the modules in the DMAC software toolkit. On Day One, participants will learn about State Assessment, including a variety of STAAR reports to assist school personnel in monitoring instruction. Day One also includes practice in free tools that DMAC offers. Day Two offers participants hands-on practice in TEKScore and TAG, the benchmarking process in DMAC. Day Three will consist of RTI, PDAS, SIP and TPRI/Tejas Lee, depending upon the needs of the participants. This day is devoted to assisting users in training and practice in any of the Day Three modules so that they will have their toolkit prepared for the new school year.
Participants may register for each day separately  to fit their district or campus needs.

Important Session Information:


The morning session will provide participants with the ability to use the TEKS Assessment Generator feature of DMAC (TAG) which is a test item bank to create short cycle assessments and benchmarks.  The test items can be quickly selected by student expectation and developed into assessment to measure student mastery and progress.

The afternoon training will provide participants with the ability to use the TEKScore component of the DMAC program to create benchmarks or short cycle assessments.  This feature of DMAC provides a method to create test keys, percode student answer sheets, scan answer documents online, and generate instant reports such as item analysis, objective and SE mastery to reflect STAAR Readiness, Supporting and Process Standards in order to improve and adjust classroom instruction.
