Texas Safe Schools and Healthy Students Summit
SDFSC Class of 2010




The Texas Safe Schools and Healthy Students Summit is a premier school safety event for our state and features some of the best presenters from around our state and nation. The presentation tracks for the Summit will be Preparedness, Drug and Alcohol Prevention, Violence Prevention, and Mental/Physical Health. This Summit is a partnership among the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Statewide Initiative at Education Service Center, Region VI; the Texas Education Agency; and the Texas School Safety Center. Our intended audience for the Summit is a wide one, to include the following school staff members: district administrators, SDFSC staff, safety personnel, nurses, counselors, teachers, resource officers, transportation directors, and maintenance directors. In addition, the following local, county, and state officials are also invited participants: emergency management planners/coordinators, emergency first responders, educational service center staff, state agency representatives, health and human service agency representatives, and many more.
