Integration Theory - Level 1
Course Overview: The increased use of technology in schools brings the challenge of understanding new terms and building a common vocabulary. This workshop will help clarify the meaning of Technology Integration, and show ways to help teachers integrate technology into their teaching. This workshop meets a level one requirement on the Humble ISD Technology Certification Program. Integration Theory includes: • General terminology • Technology Applications TEKS • Types of Software • Sample Integrated Lessons • Evaluating Technology Products Course Objectives: • Understand terminology related to Technology Integration • Understand the concepts of Technology Integration • Discover ways to use technology seamlessly in the classroom
