Participants will be able to identify five best practices that could be used or are currently being used to increase safety and security in their schools. The function of security cameras and technology, their appropriate use, and limitations will also be discussed as will as policies and practices that address injury and violence prevention. Afternoon session: Participants will develop a local plan that will provide for the internal coordination of the CSH (Coordinated School Health) components to assure successful implementation of school district policies, guidelines, assessment, evaluation and collaboration throughout the district.
