Although the paper folding techniques are simple and use common materials, results for students can be remarkable. The goal for students is to gain long-term understanding of concepts and to become increasingly able to help themselves conceptualize, organize, review and apply the concepts of a lesson. Foldables can be used by every student in your classroom, regardless of the grade level or subject. These interactive organizers help students link new information to their existing schema by sorting, organizing, and "chunking" data in a visual manner.
