The Texas Response to Curriclum Focal Points (TXRCFP) was created from the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and identifies critical areas for mathematics instruction at each grade level. Part 2 of the MSTAR training will utilize the TXRCFP framework to guide the design and implementation of intervention strategies for those students in Grades 5-8 who are identified as needing math intervention.
