HS ELA Electives: Independent Study in English
This course is designed to be an educator resource for the English Language Arts and Reading elective, Independent Study in English. The course provides an elective description; a link to the Texas Administrative Code; and alignment to the ELAR Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, the College and Career Readiness Standards, and the English Language Proficiency Standards. Participants have the opportunity to analyze five classroom activities that have been aligned to the three sets of standards.
