Donalyn Miller, The Book Whisperer (T.A.I.R. Conference)




This one-day training will provide strategies and resources for all levels of reading and literacy.

Important Session Information:


In collaboration with the West College of Education at Midwestern State University and TAIR (Texas Association for the Improvement of Reading), Donalyn Miller, author of The Book Whisperer and Reading in the Wild, will present an all day session for educators of all levels. Donalyn Miller is a nationally known and critically acclaimed author and educator. She is known as "The Book Whisperer" for her insightful advice on what students like to read and how to foster independent reading. Donalyn serves as the National Ambassador for Independent Reading with Scholastic Book Fairs.
