iLife for Mac! Digital Music with Garageband, iTunes and Others
Have you, (or your students), ever wanted to create background music for a presentation or video? Or, perhaps you would like to create an accompaniment CD for your classroom because the CDs available for purchase are too high for you to sing (or maybe they don't have the songs you want)? This course is an introduction to music technology. With the advent of programs such as Garageband, Band-in-the-Box and Sibelius, the creation of your own digital music has become a much simpler task. Anyone interested in the creation of digital music should attend. Areas covered/introduced will be music theory/interactive software, notation software and digital recording. Class members will create two audio files using GarageBand, Band-in-the-Box and Sibelius.
