Math/Science Partnership Program - Curriculum Topic Study - Eastmont
This training will add to the ongoing efforts of the regional LASER Alliance and Math Leadership Alliance in building a sustainable K-20 school culture that promotes high quality math and science learning and teaching practices for all students, teachers, and administrators in under-served and under-represented school districts. The participants will work together to develop a coordinated set of science materials to help deepen their understanding of the important science topics they teach. Curriculum Topic Study builds a bridge between state and national standards, research on students' ideas in science, and opportunities for students to learn science and mathematics through improved teacher practice.
