Tough Kids: Responding to Challenging

Participants will be introduced to the characteristics of today's "tough kid," a student whose challenging behaviors can be disruptive to the learning environment. Drawing on the works of Bill Jensen and Randy Sprick, this session will focus on effective techniques, strategies, and interventions to motivate kids who are reluctant learners in today's classroom.

-Explore motivation systems to encourage student buy-in

-Identify key strategies for working with our Tough kids
