2021-DESE-Moving the Needle: Why Create a Comprehensive School Physical Activity Plan - Virtual

Creating a CSPAP helps our understanding of the practices and supports for physical

education and activity as part of the Whole Child model. The CSPAP is the “how to” of

implementing the PE/PA component of the WSCC and how it helps students reach 60

minutes of

physical activity a day. The foundation of the CSPAP is physical education. PE provides

students with the skills and knowledge to be physically active for a lifetime. Move that

needle to support your K-12 physical education program! This would be a good foundation

for a physical education centered PLC.
