2021-DESE-Human Trafficking-Virtual
As educators, you are in a position to potentially recognize children at risk of being abused or are already being harmed or violated. You are also one of the first lines of defense in combating crimes against children by detecting those victims and notifying the proper authorities or administrators of your concerns. This training will provide information to help support child safety and advocacy in schools.
Important Session Information:
In this session, the FBI Little Rock Field Office will define Human Trafficking and share some common risk factors or behaviors to aid you in identifying possible victims as well as cyber safety informaiton to keep kids safe online. A case example will also be presented to illustrate how human trafficking can occur in your communities and to children you may encounter every day within your schools.
