2021-DESE: Code of Ethics for Arkansas Educators

The Code of Ethics for Arkansas Educators defines the minimum standards of ethical conduct for all educators.  Understanding how these standards are monitored and allegations are investigated can help educators see their role in preserving professionalism in our schools. Members of the Professional Licensure Standards Board investigative team will walk you through the process from allegation to final state board order.  Case studies will be used to provide participants an opportunity to apply their knowledge to various scenarios.

Important Session Information:

This two hour interactive training is applicable for any educator that is subject to the Code of Ethics, which includes licensed educators, those employed under a waiver, and individuals enrolled in an educational preparation program.
