2021-DESE-Using Primary Sources in the Classroom



Are you looking for fresh ideas and innovative ways to incorporate primary sources into your history classes?  Whether you are new to working with sources in the classroom or an experienced teacher looking to enhance your curriculum, this workshop will inspire new ideas.  Learn how to use different types of primary sources-from documents to artifacts, from music to film-to engage a broad range of students and appeal to different learning styles.  We will draw on examples from U.S. and World History, so no matter what you teach, there will be something for you.
