Cassandra Erkens, Solution Tree Associate and assessment expert, will be the presenter for this workshop. Higher education faculty will have the opportunity to delve into the classroom instructional practices which public schools are implementing to support the PLCs at Work and HRS practices and processes. The presentation will provide information and resources to be used with teacher candidates to identify and develop assessments including summative, formative, common formative, proficiency scales and rubrics. The session will also cover best practices in modeling the use of assessments and how assessments are effectively used within the classroom and within PLC teams
