2022-DESE-Classroom Instructional Assessments and Practices for K-12 - Virtual
Cassandra Erkens, Solution Tree Associate and assessment expert, will be the presenter for this workshop. K-12 educators will have the opportunity to delve into the classroom instructional practices to support the PLCs at work and HRS practices and processes. The presentation will provide information nd resources to develop assessments to be used in the classroom. Participants will also gain knowledge and deepen understanding of a variety of assessments including; summative, formative, common formative, proficiency scales, and rubrics. the session will also cover best practices in modeling the use of assessments and how assessments are effectively used within the classroom and within PLC teams.
