How to ensure equitable opportunities for engaging with your schools
Over forty years of research shows that when families are strategically engaged in children’s learning at school and at home, student achievement improves and schools are more effective. Come to this session to investigate what barriers prevent all families from engaging, and begin to develop strategies for encouraging broader engagement.

This session is the second of a three-part training series for 2021-22 that will take Arkansas’ educators and administrators who are responsible for engagement planning, from “beyond compliance” to
best practices in family and community engagement.
