2021 - ADE - The PLC at Work Process: Grades Pre-K - 2 with Brian Butler and Diane Kerr



The goal of this workshop is to provide educators with the research base for the work of a PLC at Work school and provide practical application for the work of PreK-2 teams. The workshop will provide a brief overview for how the PLC process supports the work of early childhood teams. Participants will have an opportunity to: · Gain clarity about the PLC at Work process · Understand the Key Components of an Early Childhood Curriculum · Learn about the PLC at Work’s Four Critical Questions of Learning and how they apply to key team learning tasks · Read vignettes of examples and scenarios to assist in visualizing the work of teams. · Reflect and assess their current reality in regards to this work. Participants will leave the session having identified specific next steps for their work.

This session will be held at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith in the Echols Conference Center. Lunch will be provided.
