2024-DESE-Quantitative Literacy - Virtual



The Quantitative Literacy course builds on Algebra I to explore mathematical topics and relationships.  The emphasis is placed on applying modeling as the process to choose and use mathematics in real world situations.  This training explores the Quantitative Literacy (OL) content standards and course overview.  Participants will analyze real world situations and represent their reasoning and conclusions numerically, graphically, symbolically and verbally.  Activities and resources will be shared with participant including access to an online repository.  This session is for participants who have not previously attended QL training.

This will be an interactive virtual session requiring participants to utilize various online tools during the PD>  The session will be conducted via Zoom and will require a webcam and microphone for active participation.  An agenda including Zoom links and additional information will be emailed prior to the beginning of the session.
