This session will review the updates to social studies standards, as passed by the State Board of Education in December of 2022. Participants can expect to receive an overview of the updates, explanations and reasons for the changes and examples of updated content. Time will be devoted for participants to review the standards for their particular courses/grade levels and to make a plan to implement the new standards in their respective classrooms.
